Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1.1 What Brand-Me is

Brand-Me is a personal, small-scale project that lets you generate and deploy a website on a subdomain under brand-me.truckspotterjappie.nl, using a Discord command and a short brief. It's run by one person on limited server capacity.

1.2 No guarantees

Brand-Me is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or error-free operation. The service can run slower at times, go down for maintenance, or be temporarily unavailable. No SLA is offered.

1.3 Your responsibility as a server owner

  • You're responsible for the brief you submit.
  • Every generated website must follow the Discord Terms of Service and the Discord Community Guidelines.
  • Brand-Me can't be used to build websites meant for spam, harassment, phishing, evading Discord moderation, or any other harmful or illegal purpose.
  • A build can be shut down or removed without prior notice if it's misused.

1.4 Limitation of liability

Brand-Me and the person running it aren't liable for damages, data loss, or lost revenue arising from the use, operation, or downtime of a generated bot, to the extent permitted by law.

1.5 Ending or removing a build

You can rebuild or fully remove a build at any time from within Discord. If the project itself shuts down, every build and its subdomain can be removed, with reasonable notice where possible.

1.6 Official bot invite

The only legitimate way to add the Brand-Me bot to your server is through the official invite link available on our website. Any other invite links are not authorized by Brand-Me and may lead to modified bots, security risks, or actions that could damage your Discord server. Always verify the invite source before granting a bot access to your server.

1.7 Changes

These terms can change as Brand-Me develops. The date at the top of this document marks the last update.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

2.1 What gets processed

Running /brand-me processes the following, so a website can actually get built and hosted:

  • Server data needed for the spec: server name, channel names and structure, and roles.
  • The brief you submit with the command.
  • Your Discord user ID, as the person who requested the build, for admin and support purposes.
  • Technical data about the build itself (subdomain, status, build logs).

This data is processed only when necessary to provide the Brand-Me service, maintain security, prevent abuse, and respond to support or takedown requests.

2.2 What it's used for

This data is used only to build the spec, run the website on its subdomain, and provide support if something breaks. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. Some data may be processed by trusted service providers when necessary to operate Brand-Me.

2.3 Retention

Data is kept for as long as the build stays active. Once a build is removed, its spec and logs are deleted within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is needed to handle an abuse or takedown report.

2.4 Security

Brand-Me runs on a self-managed VPS. Reasonable care is taken to secure it, but given the scale of the project, full protection against every possible form of abuse can't be guaranteed.

2.5 Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data and your build at any time, through the contact below.

2.6 Third party data

To provide AI-powered features, Brand-Me may process certain data through third-party AI providers, including OpenRouter.ai. Only the data required to generate and operate the requested build is sent to these services. Data handling is subject to both this Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of the third-party providers involved.

Takedown requests

Last updated: 16 July 2026

3.1 How to request a takedown

If a build needs to come down — whether it's your own or one you believe is being run without proper authorization — send a request to the contact address below with all of the following:

  1. The domain to take down: the exact subdomain under brand-me.truckspotterjappie.nl (e.g. your-server.brand-me.truckspotterjappie.nl).
  2. Proof of ownership: a screenshot showing you're a server admin or owner of the Discord server in question, together with a screenshot of your profile, so the request can be tied to an identifiable person.
  3. The reason for the takedown request.

Requests missing any of the above will be sent back asking for the missing piece before anything is actioned.

Used for takedown requests, abuse reports, and privacy requests under section 2.5 above.

3.2 Response time

This is a one-person project, so requests are handled on a best-effort basis rather than under a fixed SLA. Valid, complete requests are prioritized and actioned as soon as reasonably possible.
